The Deacons of RBC lead four ministry teams which are organized to best serve the needs of members. Following lists each team, the deacons leaders and a description of the team's focus.

Hospital, Homebound and Hospice Visitation

Personal contact to a hospitalized or homebound member/attender for encouragement, prayer, and spiritual blessing.

Benevolence & Material/Physical Needs

Provide financial assistance for temporary needs, as determined by deacon team leaders. Provide assistance for other temporal needs, such as lawn mowing, leaf raking, minor home repairs, etc. Provide temporary family care for crisis situations.

"Passages" Ministry: Birth, Death, Marriage

Jim Barber (837-6038)
Work with appropriate Sunday School class to provide baby and wedding showers. Provide meal and other ministry to families during the loss of a family member.

Membership Matters

Provide appropriate follow-up to new members to ensure they do not fall "through the cracks." Work with the pastor and baptismal committee to arrange for and explain importance of and particulars regarding baptism.
